Rabbits symbolize fertility, desire, abundance, comfort, and vulnerability. Rabbits are closely linked to Spring and new beginnings (hence the Easter Bunny). The Rabbit is also the symbol for Ostara—an ancient fertility Goddess. Ostara’s symbols are rabbits, flowers, and eggs.

Rabbits burrows are tunnels that run deeply into the Earth. This symbolizes connection with primal energy and the energy of the Earth Mother. Rabbits are Earth element animals, and remind us of groundedness. They remind encourage one to retreat within, and collect ourselves through warmth.

The Rabbit also symbolizes reflection, as they are nocturnal and share the same symbolism as The Moon. Rabbits remind is to examine and utilize the tools we have within ourselves.

The Rabbit means different things in different cultures, all with a common theme. Feel free to research!
